A note from CEO Doug Roberts

I'd like to personally welcome you to the March issue of the GTT Connection.

The state of the economy continues to force the public sector to make what only a few years ago would have been unimaginable choices. In such a situation, extracting the maximum benefit from existing infrastructure investments is critical. As an example, we recently conducted an analysis for a large metropolitan area and were able to show the customer how to achieve a 5:1 return on investment through Emergency Vehicle Preemption - potentially returning 10's of millions of dollars to their general fund.

GTT has, and continues to, invest heavily in the innovation necessary to help our customers maximize performance, especially in these difficult times. In this newsletter, we highlight how cities can improve the performance of their system while increasing safety at the intersections. Whether it is our revolutionary Multimode Technology, our award-winning Central Management Software, or simply the proven benefits of Emergency Vehicle Preemption (EVP), I invite you to take the time to explore how these capabilities can greatly improve the performance and cost effectiveness of your operations. I also encourage you to reach out to GTT or one of our many dealers to discuss unique challenges you may have and how we can help you overcome them - whether financial or technical. With a legacy stretching back to the first introduction of EVP in the 1970's, GTT has the experience and expertise to help.

I hope you enjoy this issue of the newsletter.
