This seminar will familiarize the student with the function and operation of the signal control cabinet. It will include a general overview of the enclosure types and wiring of NEMA TS1, TS2, and the ATC control cabinet. Major NEMA cabinet circuits will be traced and understood. Lab work will include cabinet preparation for specific intersections and diagnosis and troubleshooting of various faults. This is a combination lecture and hands-on workshop. Prerequisite: Introductory Controller Class.
