This class is designed to introduce students to the Econolite Cobalt traffic controller. A two-day course, it will cover Cobalt ATC hardware, EOS software and basic screens used for setup and troubleshooting. Controller data base management, web interface and the virtual controller will also be reviewed. Students are encouraged to bring their laptop computers. As a prerequisite, one should have a fundamental knowledge of NEMA Controllers being able to program a controller by hand using a keypad. This course will use both Econolite and Siemens controllers.
