This class is designed to introduce students to the Econolite Cobalt traffic controller. A two-day course, it will cover Cobalt ATC hardware, EOS software and basic screens used for setup and troubleshooting. Controller data base management, web interface and the virtual controller will also be reviewed. Students are encouraged to bring their laptop computers. Prerequisite: Introductory Controller.

This one-day course will familiarize students with 900MHz license-free spread spectrum radio technology as utilized for traffic control interconnect. Students will learn about associated hardware, system design as well as interfacing capabilities with controllers through RS232 and FSK. Additionally, remote contact closure applications will be analyzed. This is a combination lecture and hands-on workshop. Students are encouraged to bring their laptop computers.

As a prerequisite, one should have a fundamental knowledge of NEMA Controllers being able to program a controller by hand using a keypad. This course will use both Econolite and Siemens controllers. One can expect to program and discuss advanced programming scenarios using both controllers. This will be a three-day course. Students are encouraged to bring their laptop computers. Prerequisite: Basic Controller Class.

As a prerequisite, one should have a fundamental knowledge of NEMA Controllers being able to program a controller by hand using a keypad. This course will use both Econolite and Siemens controllers. One can expect to program and discuss advanced programming scenarios using both controllers. This will be a three-day course. Students are encouraged to bring their laptop computers. Short videos, real world scenarios, and a demonstration unit are the tools provided for this instruction. The class portion will take place in the morning, lunch will be provided and the hands-on presentation will take place in the afternoon. Please dress comfortably.
